Fashion Jewellery and Hair Accessory Trends for 2005
Fashion for Spring / Summer 2005 takes us travelling around the world as we take influence from countries far and wide. We take a look at fashion jewellery and hair accessories to compliment the key trends of the season.
Fashion trends for Spring / Summer 2005 are diverse but, in general, we see the return of colour. Prints are big news from bold striking patterns to more refined florals. Jackets are shorter and fitted, skirts are flatteringly full and floaty and there's huge emphasis on cropped trousers. In equal contrast, we see cleaner non-fussy lines with ethnic and safari inspired pieces while ruffles and dresses, corsets and blouses are overtly feminine in mouth watering sorbet shades. After numerous seasons of being left out in the cold, the fashion scene embraces the cool shade of blue for Spring / Summer 2005. Think ice, azure, through to midnight - every shade of blue imaginable. The catwalks have been flooded with a sea of blue from dresses, skirts, cropped trousers, to fashion jewellery and accessories.
