The Oscars - the most glamorous event of the year. And this year's 77th Annual Academy Awards ceremony was no exception. In stark contrast to the sea of Sienna Miller dress-a-likes we have become accustomed to, boho babe style was sent to the back of the class and it was old school Hollywood glamour all the way.
Yes, for one night only, loose surfer babe waves were replaced by 1930's sleek curls and groomed and gorgeous up-do's. Gowns were elegant and chic with an air of retro glamour and there was not a single gypsy skirt in sight. Oscar jewellery focused on statement earrings and bejewelled hair accessories. The red carpet was set alight and ensured each celebrity shone like the star they are.

Of course the stars are loaned diamonds from v.famous jewellers but, hey, who wants a bodyguard by their side all night?!!
