White and green are the perfect pairing for a Christmas wedding, and this enchanting colour scheme is actually incredibly versatile. You can ramp up the glamour factor for your festive soirée by using lots of luxe metallic details. Silver will transform your day into a winter wonderland with cooler tones, while gold accents will add serious style to your celebration. If you want to incorporate slightly cosier vibes, incorporate lots of wooden decorations into your day. For instance, wooden signage, tree slices and rustic details.

It’s the season to sparkle, just because it’s winter don’t think you have to sacrifice on your aisle style! Make sure you stay toasty throughout the day by donning a chic faux fur bolero – Glitzy Secrets have a beautiful collection of brooches to fasten it together with a hint of diamanté. Our ‘Exquisite in Emerald’ earrings will add a pop of colour to your bridal outfit, particularly if you adore those luxurious jewel tones. Don’t forget, you’ll need a garter and our ‘Love Wedding Garter’ is a divine choice for any bride-to-be. Your team of ‘maids will look stunning in envy-inducing green gowns. If you wanted to offer them slightly more choice, ask them to pick from a green colour palette rather than just one main colour. Your girls can then rock gowns in sage green, forest green and rich emerald. For the groom, why not step outside the norm with a green velvet jacket? Team it with a black tie for a classic look – so handsome!

Florals can feature heavily throughout a white and green winter wedding, especially at Christmas. Cream or white blooms teamed with an abundance of foliage and greenery will effortlessly add the wow factor to your wedding venue. You can use floral styling for table garland or centrepieces, to adorn signs and seating plans or even to decorate your wedding ceremony space with. Greenery has been notably one of the hottest trends in the world of weddings and it’s set to stay in the spotlight – so don’t be afraid to get creative with foliage!

Add warmth, cosiness and romance to your wedding by using lots of lovely white candles throughout your day. You could make it extra special by choosing a signature scent for your special day, a subtle winter fragrance will create a real experience for both you and your guests. You could even offer miniature candles as favours for your guests so that every time they light their candle they’ll be taken back to your wedding. Tie a brown or white luggage tag and a simple white bloom around the base of the candle and use them as place settings. Simple yet stunning!

White and green really do make the perfect partners for a Christmas wedding and we’re certainly feeling festive here at Glitzy Secrets HQ.
